Vocational Service:

Each year our club has one of the more anticipated club programs "Rotary Career Shadowing Day". This year on October 22, 2008 students from Palm Springs High School will be assigned to "shadow" members of the Rotary Club of Palm Springs and then be invited to attend our meeting to discuss their experiences and their future goals.

Each year our LIteracy and Educational Task Force has a project that the club will participate in.  On February 4, 2009 The Rotary Club of Palm Springs donated dictionaries to the Cahuilla , Aqua Caliente, Katherine Finchy and Vista del Monte Elementary Schools.  Members of the Rotary Club of Palm Springs volunteer at the Cahuilla Elementary School to tudor students and assist in classrooms.

Club members are encouraged to give a "Vocational Minute".  This is an opportunity for members to talk about their vocation and their accomplishments.
