Club Service:

This year we are introducing some new and exciting things.  As you can see we have implemented a new website to assist all members and interested parties to come and see what our club is all about. All club and Rotary information is at your fingertips.  Don't miss our new and improved "Desertarian" (Newsletter).  Find out the latest news from our club. Check out our Calendar of Events.  With the help of our "Master Web King" Mark Stanley we now have a group in Facebook so look us up and join the Rotary Club of Palm Springs.

We promise to have exciting and relevant speakers for you to enjoy.  This year we will be donating a book in the speaker's name to the Cahuilla Elementary School Library as a way of our club thanking them for presenting to our club. 

Our Membership Goal is to increase our membership to 75.  We will be holding a Membership Mixer every 1st Tuesday of the month at the Hotel Zoso from 5-7 p.m.  Members of the Rotary Club of Palm Springs and the Palm Springs Rotary Club will be there.  If you are interested in joining Rotary come and join us for some fellowship and fun.  And if you are a Rotaryian please come  and bring a perspective Rotarian and get to know the members of the Rotary Clubs of Palm Springs.

We will be introducing a "Rotarian of the Month".  This will be awarded to a club member who has made a significant contribution not only to the club, but in our community as well.

The "Chill" Baseball Nite - 2/7/09

This is the year of "Making Dreams Real" and we plan to participate with the Rotary Clubs of the Coachella Valley on a major fundraiser.  Please stay tuned for more information on our "Bowling to End Polio Now" Fundraiser.  This is a collaborative effort of all clubs to donate the proceeds to support our RI's Polio Eradication Program.
